Guys you have to start going to brick and mortar stores again instead of buying every little damn thing online. I am so serious

#saying this bc look I don’t like joann’s fabrics as much as the next person #but looking at the chap 11 closures is truly hellish. we only have 3 of these stores in our state and they’re closing two of them #and I can’t help but think about how few options those communities will have to get anything afordable once they’re gone #and I’ve looked it up multiple times for my own purposes: there are so few fabric stores elsewhere in the state. like these go down #and online shopping will be the only option. and especially with something like fabric that can be a huge problem!#sometimes the websites can be reliable enough to tell you thread count and weave and weight but there are soooo many websites that do not #so you could easily get stuck with some fucked fabric and then what!#not to mention on top of shipping shit can get super fucking expensive real quick #and sure joanns is faaaaar from perfect but jesus at least I can go there and scope out the fabric properly #I’m lucky my own local joanns is staying open but holy fuck it’s so bad!!!#like does nobody else see that buying everything online is draining places of local resources and furthering our enslavement to capitalism?#or is it just fucking me????#god DAMN #also this should go without saying that you absolutely should shop local places first too #but like also I get it bc even one of my local places sells their linen for like 40 bucks a yard which is nuts so just. please as long as #you’re not feeding the devil called amazon for god’s sake

Fallout New Vegas DLC Sleeping Arrangement Headcanons:

After making my post about my thoughts on how the sleeping arrangement inside the Lucky 38 would work with all the companions.

I couldn't stop thinking about the DLC characters so here’s my headcanons!!

Honest Hearts:

The Dead Horses and The Sorrows are always courteous offering my Courier Six a bed to rest in:

When traveling with Follows-Chalk if it's too late to return to the Dead Horses Camp, they'll find somewhere safe to sleep. The plan is to have one guard while the other rests. However, they stay up wayyy too late talking. Follows-Chalk teaches her how to read stars while she tells him stories from her travels.

Waking Cloud wears and uses her Yao Guai Gauntlet as a pillow (it also allows her to quickly spring into action). She misses her children and as they're falling asleep, tells Courier Six stories about them.

Joshua Graham is usually the last to go to bed, so he'll sleep on whatever bed isn't taken (or the floor). I imagine he always sleeps on his back. Since it distributes the pain evenly instead of putting a large amount of pressure onto one spot.

If my Courier Six is also awake she'll say a prayer with him before bed.

If Joshua is up late working on inventory and my Courier Six is inside Angel Cave, she'll be lulled to sleep by the fire and noises he makes.

Dead Money:

You know how Dean Domino has secret stashes hidden everywhere? He also has hidden sleeping spots. Multiple pillows and blankets which he does NOT like sharing but will begrudgingly with my Courier Six.

Dean Domino has lived in the Sierra Madre the longest, which has caused him to become a light sleeper. He will always bitch about back pain, regardless if he's sleeping on an old mattress or couch.

Once, when traveling with my Courier Six, she got VERY sick and dizzy from the red cloud, forcing her to rest. Dean thought about ditching her (but couldn't with the whole "wedding rings around their necks" plus he wants to use her for protection). So he dragged her to one of his spots. When Courier Six woke up she thanked him and offered to keep watch, so he could rest as well, which he reluctantly accepted.

Courier Six is the only one he'll sleep around.

Christine has an extremely hard time falling asleep because she’s afraid she'll wake up in the auto doc.

My Courier Six offers to sit next to Christine, hold her hand and keep watch while she tries to sleep. My Courier Six's perception isn't high enough to understand Christine, but she can sympathize with how difficult it is to fall asleep in the Sierra Madre.

Dog and God sleep sitting perched up against a wall. Dog snores while God doesn’t. He's far too large to sleep comfortably on most of the furniture scattered around. Courier Six worries about him but can't convince him to sleep differently.

Old World Blues:

My Courier Six sleeps in the bed inside The Dome. However as she slowly begins repairing everyone inside The Sink (Muggy, Toaster, Jukebox, ETC.) it becomes harder to sleep in there. She also feels WAYYY too guilty about the idea of turning them off.

So near the end of the DLC after getting closer to everyone she starts occasionally sleeping inside The Think Tank. Specifically using the weapon trunk and table next to Dr. 8 as a makeshift desk.

My Courier Six has 100% woken up to some of them hovering over and observing her sleep 👁️👄👁️ (especially Dr. Dala).

After she peacefully resolved things with Dr. Mobius, before returning, she slept on his floor. Making sure not to sleep on or touch any of his notes. Despite this, she woke up with math equations written on her face.

She has no idea how he did that.

His humming and silly singing soothes her to sleep:

Lonesome Road:

My Courier Six is FIGHTING for her life in The Divide and sleeps whenever she can (which isn’t often). Ulysses is watching her from a distance and will also (sometimes) sleep when she does. Due to his past as a member of the Legion and a Courier. Ulysses is able to sleep easily in odd places.

ED-E watches over my Courier Six while she sleeps. Alerting her to any danger. However, until she falls asleep, ED-E lets her hold him like this:

It makes her think of home (The Lucky 38). Since that's how she usually sleeps with her ED-E in the Presidential Suite.

She doesn’t question or challenge his authority.#Mainly since my Courier Six is trying to be the glue to keep everyone together. So if he's going to sleep in front of anyone it'd be her.#Plus Dean is worried Christine will figure out it was him who put her through that hell and kill him over it.#He won't also trust Dog because they're working for Father Elijah. Once again thinking about Sanuso Superhero Au....... Stealth Black being forced to be a villain and thinking he has no other choice but to be evil always fighting against Sogeking who won't stop accidentally seeing the good parts of him and wondering if he truly has a heart, while Stealth Black keeps meaning to kill Sogeking but he can never do it... The whole "I'll cut your throat, that'll shut you up" vs "You're beautiful".

#also nami is an anti-hero btw she does whatever she wants whenever she wants and goes against the law but never against the people #sogeking is this sort of vigilante. honestly he has soooo many spider-man vibes #and ofc stealth black is just typical dc villain that's like. canon in the op world. but y'know what i mean #it's my brother's birthday and we're like dressing up as superheroes/villains and i couldn't stop thinking about them #bc i'm going as spider-gwen yayyy #wich i could go as gwen-pool but i don't have the stuff for that. i love both tho #one piece #black leg sanji #usopp #sanuso

Just officially finished watching BTVS and I must say that I don’t think I will ever get over the fact that the last words Buffy says in the entire show is “I love you” and “Spike”. The fact that he sacrifices/ gives up his life for her multiple times and then he gives it up to save the world FOR HER! AAAUUGHHHHHHHH!!!!!! Heart is SHATTERED. Like yes, I do believe that Spike cared about Dawn and the scoobies and after getting his soul, protecting the potentials. But he would have never felt that way or done it without his love for Buffy. My heart melted so bad w/ the final Spuffy moments. Istg BTVS walked so AO3 writers could run with the whole enemies to friends/ situationship to enemies to lovers. The fact that the entirety of s6 they spend fucking it out and figuring out their issues, then they both grow and change separately and towards the end—together and their final romantic moments are them cuddling in each other’s arms. STOP. The angst to fluff in this show makes me WEAKK IM ACHINGGG.

Istg if they mess up their relationship in the reboot show….ooooooohhhh boy. I’m not watching. Period.

(Also, I’m hoping that the whole Jenson Ackles rumor is their attempt to recast Spike because istg if she went through all that turmoil with him and coming to terms with the fact that having a ‘normal’ relationship doesn’t work for her [and unpopular opinion maybe, but I think part of it is not because she’s a Slayer.] just for them to throw her in a relationship that was never originally established in the show possibly to not swing one way or the other for fan ships, I will be so pissed off. Like if you’re going to do that why not explicitly establish her in any relationship? Why not just imply it? I mean they were LITERALLY END.GAME in the show AND the comics. Like you don’t just bring back Spike after killing him in some grand way and then make a bunch of comics where they’re together just to slap her with the suburban life or something with some random new character. Nuh uh.)

Like that’s sooooo hangster???? Or like hangster is sooo chaleigh??? You have both the main character with a torturous past with big soulful eyes and the one who the mission counts on and then you have the cocky but actually really good pilot who thinks he is enough for the mission and then gets angry when someone else is introduced and absolutely keeps on messing with the main character but they need each other to actually complete the mission and save the world (or destroy the main target)!!!

sometimes looking at like Self Help Strategies lists for the symptoms I'm having is always just like:

#I think maybe productivity tips help less if the reason you're unproductive is partially like.. physcial health and other extenral things #out of your control. rather than just like having trouble paying attention or spending too much time on tiktok or whatever #all the strategic to do lists in the world are not going to somehow prevent me from waking up with a debilitating migraine or whatever #or having external stressors or lacking resources and connections or other Productivity Essentials etc.#especially many tips involve stuff like 'cut off from social media' since thats the modern day time waster for so many poeple #and it's like.. lol.. i can hardly even maintain a blog even thuogh i actively WANT TO DO SO. 'shut off your smart phone!' already #done babey i fucking hate smart phones i shall never use an app unless i am forced to. 'delete tiktok' yep. already covered. tiktok and #all of those thinsg are my enemies. 'save money by cancelling some of your services' cool. already ahead of you.#who the fuck is out here paying for like 10 different subscription services. pirated videos uploaded to google drive and youtube to mp3 #my beloved. etc. etc. and so on. 'socialize less' .........LOL.. if only you knew.. mr.writer of the article. i can barely muster #talking to friends more than once a month and even less if I'm actively sick (often occurence) etc. etc. ... hewoo #I think maybe instead of generic productivity tips I need more like.. how to refocus and be productive anyway even if you have a headache #or are nauseous or etc. Not that those are always things to ignore. and of course you should let your body rest and etc. But plenty of peop #e have mild physical symptoms and just work through them. Ithink something about the way my body/mind is SOO hyper attuned to all #sensory information just makes it like... constantly 'GRR well I cant focus on WRITING right now because my lef #t ear feels weird and my socks are too itchy and my back has a strange pressure and I'm vaguely warm and my eye feels some ssort of #way it doesnt normally feel and I'm hyperaware of my breathing and also nauseous for no reason' and like half of those things I #think '''normal''' people wouldnt even notice or at least would be able to just live through. but for me it's like.. nealry impossible to i #gnore and soooo distracting always. like 'wahh.. nooo we can't draw or get anything done.. my legs feel slightly heavy or something!!'#like............. ok......... who cares. thats not even a PAIN sensation it's just something weird. but it's just like.. NO. constant #mental alerts about the 'heaviness' of your legs be upon ye. Though Imean like.. yes.. 70% of the time I am in genuine pain #or having some sort of actual ailment with trackable physical symptoms. but sometimes it's just like... we could totally be working right #now and ignoring this silly thing but my brain is fixated on it for no reason uncontrollably. etc. etc. I guess it's the same way that like #most people can go to a grocery store without the whole experience being so overwhelming and so much stuff going on at once #that they have to rest afterwards but like.. in my own HOME doing NOTHING i feel like I should be able to not get overwhelmed lol.
